The School of the Art Institute Photography Graduate Seminar presentsI Build How I Remember, an exhibition exploring how artists intimately construct their own realities through the plastic spatiotemporality of the photographic medium. Whether a body, a fictional history, or a dreamed relationship, these artists create images and artifacts of desire at a distance. They invite us to survey the disparate tools we use to build our memories (or lack thereof) into the present.
